Brew Guide: Espresso

Here are our top tips for making the perfect espresso every time in 4 simple steps

1. Finely grind around 18g of freshly roasted coffee into your portafilter.
2. Evenly tamp the coffee and gently brush coffee off the edges of the portafilter.
3. Insert the portafilter into the espresso machine and brew.
4. Aim for around 36g of Espresso (or 2:1 depending on your recipe) in roughly 25 seconds.
